The yoga tradition of Vanda Scaravelli focuses on the knowledge that our bodies inherently know how to move with ease and grace. If we take the time to refine our attention and foster a willingness to be a beginner each time we come to our practice, we are intuitively guided toward stress-free, whole movement, as we release tension and restore balance. In this workshop, you will be led to connect with the innate intelligence of the body, working with the breath and without force or stress. Through careful attention, we learn to work with and not against our bodies, creating a sustainable practice that can last a lifetime.Kay Campitelli has been practicing and teaching Scaravelli Yoga for 20 years. She studies with Diane Long, who was Vanda’s principal student. Kay teaches private lessons, group classes, and workshops. She is based in Los Angeles.
